A 2-day Murree and Galiyat plan for families
Chairlifts, a flat forest walk, Mall Road at night and enough chai breaks for everyone.

Two days is enough to see the best of Murree with children, if you plan around the traffic. This is the plan our guide Bilal gives families.
Day 1: Murree
- Morning: Pindi Point chairlift while the sky is clear.
- Lunch: back at Hillview, or on Mall Road.
- Afternoon: walk up to Kashmir Point for the sunset.
- Evening: Mall Road for corn, chai and shopping.
Day 2: Galiyat
- Leave at 9am for the Ayubia pipeline track, an easy 4 km walk.
- Lunch in Nathia Gali.
- Patriata chairlift and cable car on the way back, if open.
Good to know
Keep a warm layer for every child even in summer, and book a bonfire night for the last evening: it is always the favourite.
