Our story
A family home that opened its doors
Hillview started as the Abbasi family's summer house on Kashmir Point Road. In 2014 Tariq Abbasi turned its nine rooms into a guest house, so families from Lahore, Islamabad and Karachi could stay somewhere clean, warm and safe, close to Mall Road but away from its noise.
Twelve years on it is still run by the family. Sana looks after bookings, Chef Rashid runs the kitchen and Imran brings guests up from Islamabad. The idea has not changed: a spotless room, a hot breakfast and a host who picks up the phone.

What are check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 2pm and check-out is by 12 noon. Early check-in from 10am is free if the room is ready; late check-out until 3pm can be added for Rs 2,500 (sample price).
Is breakfast included?
Yes in the Deluxe room (for 2) and the Family suite (for 4). In the Standard room you can add breakfast for Rs 900 per adult and Rs 450 per child a day (sample prices).
Is there parking?
Yes, free parking for 8 cars inside our gate. In January and February the last climb can be icy, so snow chains help. Our driver can also collect you from Mall Road for free.
Are the rooms warm in winter?
Every room has a gas heater and thick quilts, the Deluxe rooms have electric blankets, and hot water runs 24 hours. A generator and UPS cover load-shedding.
How do I confirm my booking?
Send the booking request on this website. We confirm on WhatsApp, then you pay a 30% advance by bank transfer, JazzCash or EasyPaisa. The rest is paid at check-in by cash or card.
What is the cancellation policy?
Free cancellation up to 72 hours before check-in. Within 72 hours the first night is charged. On peak dates (20 Dec to 5 Jan, Eid) free cancellation is up to 7 days before. If snow closes the road, you can move your dates free.
Can you pick us up from Islamabad?
Yes. Our driver collects guests from Islamabad Airport (Rs 9,500), Islamabad or Rawalpindi (Rs 7,500) and Mall Road (free), one way, sample prices. Add it while booking.
Is it suitable for families and children?
Very. We are a family-run guest house with a ground-floor Family suite, a kids' corner, a garden and quiet hours after 11pm. Children under 6 stay free on existing beds.
What do I need to show at check-in?
An original CNIC or passport for every adult guest. Foreign guests also show their visa. This keeps the house safe for every family.
Is there Wi-Fi and phone signal?
Free Wi-Fi works in every room and the lounge. All main mobile networks work at the house; signal can be weaker on some forest trails.
