Why the file matters
Most refusals come from missing or unclear documents, not from the traveller. A clean, complete file is the best thing you can control.
The usual list
Every country is different, but these come up again and again.
- Passport valid for 6+ months, with old passports if you have them
- Bank statement of 3 to 6 months, with a bank letter
- Job letter with salary and leave dates, or business documents
- Hotel booking and a day by day plan
- Travel insurance for the full trip
