Two months before
Check every passport: it should be valid for at least 6 months after your return date. Make sure the name matches your CNIC exactly.
- Passport valid for 6+ months
- CNIC copies for every traveller
- B-form or FRC for children
- Vaccination record as per current rules
What to pack
Pack light. Hotels have laundry, and you will want space for dates and gifts on the way back.
- 2 sets of Ihram for men, comfortable abayas for ladies
- Soft walking shoes and socks
- Small backpack for the Haram
- Unscented soap and a pocket prayer book
- Basic medicines with a prescription copy
Money
Carry some riyals for the first day and a debit card that works abroad. Tell your bank before you fly so your card is not blocked.
The steps, in short
Ihram from the Miqat, Tawaf of the Kaaba seven times, two rakat prayer, Sa'i between Safa and Marwah seven times, then Halq or Taqsir. Our training session walks you through each step before you fly.
